Facility Request Form
Braggtown Baptist Church Facilities Use Guidelines
In order to ensure that we are good stewards of the space that God has graciously given to us, we ask that any person/group requesting use of the facilities of Braggtown Baptist Church to agree and comply with these guidelines for use of any space.
-
No alcohol may be served or consumed in church facilities.
-
Smoking on church property (indoor and outdoor) is strictly prohibited.
-
Groups are restricted to only those areas of the facility that the group has reserved.
-
Church equipment, such as tables and chairs, must be returned to original placement, unless arranged otherwise prior to the event. All equipment used must be cleaned upon completion of the event.
-
All areas used must be swept/mopped upon completion of the event.
-
All lights must be turned off and doors locked upon departure.
-
Abusive or foul language, violent behavior, and drug or alcohol abuse are strictly prohibited on church premises. Any person exhibiting such behavior will be required to leave the premises immediately.
Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in future facilities use by the person/organization being revoked.
AC/Heat
The HVAC system is controlled by an EcoBee WiFi System. This allows our staff to preset the system for the duration of your event (setup/cleanup is included in that time frame). While there are physical thermostats located throughout the building, they are password protected and can not be adjusted.
Security System
The church facility is armed with a security system. If approved, the POC for your event will be given a code to use. Panels to arm/disarm the system are located at the side and back doors. (NOTE: If the system is armed and you enter through a door that does not have a panel, the alarm will go off, as those entrances do not have a time delay). Upon entering the facility, ALWAYS check the alarm system. The display will either read “Armed Away” or “Disarmed.” The panel may NOT make noise to indicate it needs to be disarmed. Checking the system upon arrival ensures that the system is actually disarmed and that a false alarm does not occur.
Fines for False Alarms: In the event that the security system is tripped, a false alarm will occur and first responders will be dispatched. We receive a fine for every false alarm that occurs, and it will be the responsibility of the individual/group using BBC’s facilities to pay the fine in the time that it is due.
